“The Bed Tucker” was the patented idea of Dolores Dioguardi (88), an octogenarian who found bed making to be increasingly more difficult on her back. Unable to find a good solution on the Internet (and also after multiple broken nails), Dolores turned to her husband, Philip Dioguardi (96), to design something that would solve her problem. Shortly thereafter, The Tucker was born. Motivated by her “YES I CAN” attitude, supported by her husband and un-phased by her age, she secured a design patent in April 2015 and began investigating manufacturing options.
Concerned that Americans have lost so much manufacturing to foreign sources, Dolores was determined to produce The Tucker in the United States. Today, The Tucker is proudly, “MADE IN USA” in West Palm Beach, Florida. In addition, the product is packaged by ARC Palm Beach County, a private, nonprofit organization providing programs for skills training, employment and community job placement for adults with developmental, emotional, and physical disabilities. Tests conducted by the company have shown that people using The Tucker were able to make beds faster and better. The product’s slim, lightweight design is ideal for adults of all ages, as well as children, left-handed or right-handed. The Tucker is made of ABS plastic and is durable and non-porous so it can be cleaned to meet medical standards. |

The Bed Tucker can be used on all beds and with all sheets, including high quality sheets and fitted sheets, without fear of damage.
Applications include but are not limited to: all standard beds, bunk beds, medical beds, waterbeds, sofa beds, sofa/couch slip covers, and much more. Its size and design allows for The Tucker to be stored either in between the mattress or on a hook. Mattresses, which are more expensive then ever, are becoming heavier to lift.
